Am I required to attend an onramp or foundations course?
Yes. For your safety and knowledge we require ALL BEGINNERS to complete our OnRamp class before attending a Group CrossFit Workout. Our Onramp class takes place on Saturday at 10:30am. You and a coach will have private/semi-private session to work on teaching you the exercises, acclimating you to the environment and the equipment, and to work your mechanics in a safe and non-intimidating setting. Experienced CrossFitters may test out of the On-Ramp by performing a few movements with the coach.
I DON'T KNOW WHICH PROGRAM TO START WITH?
No worries. Schedule a free session and we will tell you more about our programs and even suggest one after we find out more about your goals, schedule, and experience. Click here to schedule a free session.
ARE YOU BEGINNER FRIENDLY?
Absolutely. We are well known for our all-inclusive atmosphere and coaching. Most of our coaches have been coaching for many years and have the experience to help both beginners and seasoned athletes. All programs are scalable to your individual fitness levels. If you’re concerned with what you can’t do, don’t worry, we will focus on what you CAN do. It’s our job to help modify, as needed, and to help you get to your goals- all you need to do is show up!
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR NUTRITION?
We believe that athletes should learn how to eat not just given a template. This will allow for better choices when you find yourself unable to follow the exact template. We hold quarterly nutritional workshops that kick-off nutritional challenges for our entire membership. We have had a ton of success and members losing anywhere from 10-30lbs!
how much are memberships?
are there contracts associated with memberships?
At Next Wave there are no long term contracts. Our programs simply start with a 3-month commitment. Just enough time to get some results, get to know our community, and decide if our gym is a fit for you. After your first three months, your membership will automatically continue on a month-to-month basis.
